| | nothing | ] | Interesting how the point of complete bliss and complete satisfaction (or at least as far as will suffice) is a complete paradox. You get to that point and you start seeing tiny problems existing and soon enough, the whole bliss and satisfaction is blow. It's chaos theory. Tiny implications in a system will cause it to fail upon reaching maximum perfection. Maybe it's just entropy, I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine. Good thought for the night, though. When will the spiral end? When will the point of reaching perfection and dropping it end? Maybe the perfection and complete bliss isn't real, but rather something a little less than peachy that our mind masks to rationalize the end to all ends. The point of Nirvana. |

| | "Wish You Were Here" - Pink Floyd | ] | If one were to find what he or she were truely looking for, would they really want it? Would the image of perfection and a final destination or final answer be all it seemed to be? What would happen if they decide against it? Our whole lives, we are searching for answers. What happens when we are faced with those answers and they don't fit? Do we stop and start over or end the journey right there? I wonder if we are really searching for something that doesn't exist: a ripple in the pond. We make our life as we see fit. If we attempt to set a fixed goal and fixed destination of the future, we begin to realize that life can't be sustained on that fixed point. We will always change it. We think we don't and that life is at fault, but it is not. We are the artists. We paint the world.
Memories like fingerprints are slowly raising...
Look in the mirror for 5 minutes straight and ponder what you see... |

Yeah you do it again You always do it again
You say they taught you how to read and write Yeah, they taught you how to count I say they taught you how to buy and sell Your own body by the pound I think you like to be their simple toy I think you love to play the clown I think you are blind to the fact That the hand you hold is the hand that holds you down
You do what you do You say what you say You always try to be everything to everyone You know all the right people You play all the right games You always try to be everything to everyone
Spin around and fall down, do it again You stumble and you fall Yeah why don’t you ever learn Spin around and fall down, do it again Yeah, you stumble and you fall I wonder if you will ever learn

Spin around and fall down, do it again You stumble and you fall Yeah you do it again Spin around and fall down, do it again You stumble and you fall |

| | "Sweet Jane" - Cowboy Junkies | ] | What's up people? I just got back from winning free $49 tickets from DUPB. It's a Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age concert. Talk about sweet. The only problem is NIN is really stereotyped. The band is one guy who does all of the songs in his personal studio. He has a live band too. He's not heavy metal either like everyone else seems to think. He plays industrial, techno-based rock, which is really cool if you haven't heard their new cd. The most popular song from that is "The hand that feeds." Good song.
Other developments: If you're interested, listen to KVDU every thursday evening from 8 - 9 for Fish N' Chips with Bart. It's my radio show and we do give away tickets, posters, cds, etc. once in awhile. I play alternative and some classic rock. There isn't any rap or hip hop except for the occasional Beastie Boys so call in and I'll try to play something for ya. You can listen live by going to www.kvdu.du.edu Good times with that. Other developments, I'm going to write for the Clarion (DU's newspaper) so that'll be cool. Cheers everyone! |

| | song resulting in "Turn that shit off you fucking hippies!" | ] | Just got back from camping out for hockey season tickets. We took the futon and everything. It was pretty sweet until a lot of really drunk upperclassmen came at 5 AM or so and cut in line and messed with people. Let me say this though: WE ARE GONNA KICK CC'S ASSSSSSSSSSSS BOOYA! lol Hope everyone is having fun. The line yesterday, last night, and this morning, was HUGE. Sooo many crazy people there. My poor shirt smells like beer, cigarettes, and pot because of everyone using all three there. Every 10 minutes I would wake up to a huge swell of pot smoke hanging around. It was pretty nasty. Nonetheless, I got the tickets. 52 bucks for students. It's a couple hundred or so for regularly priced season tickets so mine were definitely not a bad deal. Well, time to crash now. I've been awake too long and need to pass out lol I'm starting to wonder what's going to happen to the leftovers that other people had around Magness Arena. The place looks like a Woodstock aftermath or something haha Beer and everything all just thrown about. It's pretty bad. Maybe I'll go help pickup. Ok, see ya! |

I forgot that RTD is nearly impossible to take on Sunday because it comes every hour or two lol If you know Denver, I walked from High and Evans to Colorado and Alameda. It was an hour and 40 minute walk one way and the same back so I had a nice 3 hour trip LOL However, I got a nice work schedule at the Office Depot down here so that was pretty cool. Peace out people! Take care. |
